About Us

The Center for Positive Aging is a full-service medical aesthetics facility located in Martinsburg, West Virginia, owned and operated by Dr. Robert Bowen. The Center offers PureLipo™ liposuction, and also dermal fillers including Restylane®, Juvederm™, Radiesse® and Evolence®, and VolumaLift™, which uses a combination of cosmetic fillers. The Center also offers BOTOX® for wrinkle reduction, laser hair removal, laser skin rejuvenation with the Sciton MicroLaserPeel™, Photorejuvenation using the Sciton BBL™, acne treatments including Levulan® and BBL Blue Light, facial and spider vein therapy, ProFractional Laser treatments, plus skin care and make up lines.

Robert E. Bowen, MD, FCCP, FASLMS

The physician offering the PureLipo™ treatment at The Center for Positive Aging is Dr. Robert Bowen. Dr. Bowen graduated from the Univeristy of Illinois College of Medicine, and completed his residency in Internal Medicine at the University of Virginia. He completed fellowships in Critical Care and Pulmonary Medicine at West Virginia University. Dr. Bowen is currently a Clinical Associate Professor of Internal Medicine at WVU Medical School – Eastern Division. Dr. Bowen is board certified in cosmetic laser surgery by the American Board of Laser Surgery. He is a fellow in the American Society for Laser Medicine and Surgery, and an Aesthetic Anti-Aging Fellow with the American Academy of Anti-Aging Medicine (A4M).
